About Rachel

I knew I wanted to pursue a physical therapy career since high school. In 2005 I graduated with my B.S in health science from Bradley University in Peoria, IL and in 2008 went on to earn my Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL. I worked as an orthopedic physical therapist after graduating with my DPT. However, after having my first baby in 2013, I realized there was a gap in prenatal and postpartum care. There was zero education on how to take of ME.  I felt lost in my recovery from tail bone pain and incontinence. I was frustrated to keep hearing "this is normal you just had a baby" from my doctor. I could not accept this statement anymore and knew there had to be more I could do.  I decided to expand my personal and PT knowledge to include all things pelvic floor. From that point on, I became extremely passionate about pelvic floor and core rehab, especially postpartum recovery.

It is now my mission and passion to provide my patients with the education and tools they need to achieve and maintain pelvic health and wellness.

I cannot wait to share my passion with YOU!
